Experience that informs the work

Leadership where strategy becomes practice.

Janelle has led operations across a national federation, a six-campus school network, a 168-school district, financial services, and manufacturing. Her responsibilities have connected finance, people, technology, facilities, governance, and cross-functional execution in rural communities and large metropolitan settings.

Her approach is to make distributed organizations work as one enterprise while preserving decisions close to the work. That means building agreement about responsibilities, supporting the people who carry them, and making controls usable in everyday practice.

How she approaches the work

Practical. Human. Systems-aware.

Practical

Ideas have to help someone make a better decision, have a better conversation, or change how work actually gets done.

Human

People are not simply inputs into organizational performance. Strong organizations create room for people to contribute, grow, exercise authority, and flourish.

Systems-aware

Individual leadership matters. So do workload, expectations, authority, resources, incentives, practices, and the systems surrounding the individual.
